- Do you require deposits?
- Yes. All first time clients are required to pay a NON REFUNDABLE deposit to book their first appt. These are non refundable for ANY reason. If you need to reschedule and do so at least 48 hours in advance, I will transfer the deposit once. Clients who frequently cancel and reschedule may be asked to pay deposits again going forward.
- Can I bring my children to my appointment with me?
- I ask that you do not bring any children or additional guests with you to your appointment as my suite is very small and it's important that my attention be fully focused on your service. If you absolutely must bring a child please reach out to me in advance to be sure its ok.
- Can I bring my dog with me?
- With the exception of legally protected ADA Service Animals; pets and emotional support/comfort pets are legally not allowed in a salon space per the health department and the cosmetology board so please do not bring these animals with you to your appointment as you will be asked to take them out.
- I have nails from another salon on, should I remove them before my appointment?
- If you have Luminary or The Gel Bottle BIAB or existing hard gel on and it's in good condition ( no lifting, chips, cracks, etc) and it has not been more than 4 weeks since your last rebalance, I can usually rebalance these products without a removal. If you have acrylic, dip, or builder that is not specifically Luminary or The Gel Bottle BIAB, please remove these prior to your appt or book a soak off. Clients who show up with nails in bad condition, lifting, or need a product removed before they can get a new product and do not properly book a soak off in addition to their appointment may have to reschedule(which will forfeit any deposits and may incur a last minute cancellation fee) or may only be able to get a solid color and no designs.
- What if I'm running late?
- Running late happens, especially in Charleston! Please let me know as soon as possible. Depending on how late you arrive, your service may need to be shortened or rescheduled to avoid affecting other clients. I have a 10 minute grace period for late arrivals. If I am unable to accommodate your late arrival the fee will apply, so Please text me as soon as you realize you may run late. If you are charged a fee and your late arrival/ no show was due to an emergency please reach out to me as soon as you are able and I may be able to credit you back depending on the circumstances.
- Can I come early?
- It is totally ok to arrive early, just text me when you arrive and have a seat in the waiting area. If I can take you early I'll let you know to come in.
- What if I break a nail?
- Please contact me as soon as possible. Repair availability depends on my schedule. My work is quality and so if a nail "pops off" or chips it is likely due to an outside issue. For this reason, unless I know it was something not the fault of the client, I charge for replacements and repairs.
- Do I need to book nail art?
- Yes. If you'd like nail art, French tips, chrome, charms, or intricate designs, please add the appropriate nail art option during booking so enough time is reserved. If you ask for a design day of without pre-booking, it will be subject to availability. In the same way if you change your design after pre-sending an inspo pic, it may be subject to how much time we have. There is additional costs for nail art and changing a design may change the price.
- Do you offer refunds?
- No, I do not offer refunds for any reason as I take pride in my work and perform quality services.
